Why are you selling this? I have this same identical camera and absolutely love it. I've added a Sigma 10-20 wide angle lens, a Tamron 55-400 lens, and when I got it a 55-300 lens. I recently came back from Alaska and had taken the 18-55 kit lens and the Tamron 55-400 lens and got wonderful clear pictures. Are you upgrading to a better camera?

Yes, upgrading to a D7200 (birthday gift from wife!) The D5300 is an exceptional camera.

Picture # 3 showing the articulating screen: bottom center discoloration is not on the screen. Has to be a reflection or shawdow of some sort.
