If VP Pence takes over as President, would he continue with the President's agenda?

Just my opinion.... I think he'd go with the Republican platform which would include some of what Trump does and not of others. For example, he'd probably immediately abandon the tariff thingy Trump is doing.

I think vladimir200 is probably right. I'm sure I would h**e some of his policies, but I don't think he's crazy, and I don't think he'd put what is good for him above what is good for the country. He obviously lied when he said he is a christian first, an American second, and a Republican last, but I don't think he is a crook, and he is very well spoken, much better than I ever expected. I'm disappointed that he is a toady for Trump, but he isn't the first VP to do that.

Would drinking Diet Coke and eating Big Macs be an avenue for attack? Would prayer cause a tidal wave of attacks?

Isn't the VP supposed to support the President?

"He obviously lied when he said he is a christian first, an American second, and a Republican last," Why do you think that is a lie? It is not obvious to me.

How soon do you expect this to happen?

I really don't expect it at all. My original question was moot. I just wanted to see your (collectively) answers.

Not well versed on his Christian first claim etc. so I don't know but the rest I agree with. With Bush, Cheney was the driving force in my opinion. Some I was ok with , many not.

He's allowed to pray. He isn't allowed to try to lead me in prayer. His religion is his own business as long as he keeps it his business. If he drinks diet cokes while eating big macs, he may be subject to ridicule by some, but he should be able to handle that. The fact that he doesn't trust himself to meet a women while his wife isn't present is of some concern, but it doesn't disqualify him. If he were to try to inflict his religion on the country, that would be wrong. Hillary is a religious woman. Jimmy Carter is deeply religious.

Because of all the lies he has been a part of since he was elected, and because of his partisanship. The lies are nothing compared to Trump, but it doesn't help to document that he is a christian first. His partisanship proves he is a Republican before he is an American. I do believe he wouldn't be looking for what is in it for him at every opportunity and that is enough to make him preferable to Trump.
