There is an amazing array of lenses and accessories available for the iPhone. And I mean
amazing in more ways than one. I would never buy one of these, but I would like to read a review. The beauty of cell phone cameras is their small size. With this attachment, you can carry all your lenses, but leave the camera body at home. So what?
No I would not buy one either I am just amazed @ how far Photography has come today.

I agree Jerry. My old friend Philippe Kahn invented the cell phone camera.
Philippe was the former CEO of Borland International - makers of Paradox, QuattroPro, Turbo Pascal, etc., etc.
He also founded several other successful and innovative technology companies.
At one time he was feared by Bill Gates because of his innovations.
In the end, honesty and integrity in the software technology business lost. Great guy!

Ah, yes. I remember him well. Always something new.
last year I read on internet, (So it must be true) the cameras as we know now will eventually disapear, replaced by yes the cell phone.
Cameras will continue to get smaller and lighter, and cell
phones will continue to get better and better.
Already, professional photographers are unloading the heavy gear for 4/3 bodies and lenses, and say they can do
the same thing with less weight.
Even Canon has seen the writing on the wall.
This will be the trend, right to cell phones.
And in keeping with this thread, no I would not buy that
mount, don't think its good enough yet.

I think you're right. Progress will trample today's technology and one day all our gear will look hopelessly outdated.
I'm sure there is someone out there that misses the old 8x10 film cameras.
But they are still made.
Some technologies survive because they work.
See the following article about one photographer that had an 8x10 camera built for him to take stunning landscape images:

GPappy
Loc: Finally decided to plop down, Clover, S.C.
I recently met a fellow from Wa. state that makes a very good living doing both photo and video work and does it all with small point and shoot equipment. He doesn't even own an slr. With that in mind I can imagine you are 100% correct.
