Which one do you like best?

Help! These photos were made in 2008. One was made when the temperature was around 40 degrees (note the moisture lifting off of the snow). The other photo was made the next day when it was much colder. I can't decide which one is more picturesque.

IMHO the first one definitely has more emotion and character. And I might consider removing the sign that is smack dab in the middle of the image...

I generally prefer more detail, as in 2nd photo, yet, in this case, the river seems more interesting in photo 1

I agree on both points... #1 is the more interesting image and the sign should be removed.

The water near the sign is about 3 feet deep and I don't do lightroom or photoshop. I do appreciate your comments however.
