OK, the last boat in this series, then back to a few cars.
This is the "Mowitza II" a 1928 Ditchburn Viking, about 27 ft. long. (very rare)

(Oh wait..it's a boat....hmmmm...!)
Beautiful boat, not familiar with that boatmaker's name. Any idea what powered it?

Ditchburn boats was a company in Gravenhurst, Ontario, Canada. They operated for about 60 years from the 1870's until the 1930'3. Very sought-after boats.

Ditchburn was a wooden boat mfg.co. from Gravenhurst, Ontario, on Lake Muskoka.
They were originally powered by Sterling & Kermath engines. Kermath made cars in Detroit in 1907-1908, then made engines from about 1910-1950s. They made engines from single cylinders to V-12s. As far as I can tell, this one is powered by a straight-eight. Kermaths were also used in GarWoods & Chris-Crafts.
I just read that the Mowitza II is currently powered by a 454 Chevy big block.
Beautiful boat for sure. Wonderful craftsmanship. Thanks for sharing.
