Common Yellow Throat ?

According to 3 different bird id books, this appears to be something called a Common Yellow Throat Warbler.
I had never seen this one before and I spend a lot of time walking and looking up.
I took this early this morning. Unfortunately, it was cloudy and lightening the photos made them somewhat noisy.
Also, was manually focusing on this flighty little bird. My lens will not auto focus for some reason.
He was nice enough to pose for a couple of seconds before mooning me.

Thanks for sharing. As implied by the name, the Common Yellowthroat is fairly "common" in the right environment. They are normally found near water, in reeds, rushes or low trees or near fields and agricultural lands. They have a wide range and are year-round residents of the southwest and the southern states

Thank you UTMike. I wish he had been in the sun but I'll take what I can get.
Manual focusing on a flighty little bird at 500mm. hand held is not the easiest thing to do.

Yes, that is what I read about them too. Can't think of why this bird was so high above sea level and nowhere near water, swamp etc.
This was my first sighting in 65 plus years. Going to try to get some better shots if he hangs around -----and if my hips, legs quit giving me hell.
