This isn't an ad or endorsement. I am just commenting on an wonderful experience using Amazon Prime. I have a Nikon P1000 on order. Sunday morning I ordered a two battery and charger kit along with some other photo items. The next day, Monday, I returned from getting a haircut and a box containing everything I ordered was on our front stoop. This old man is amazed (There's some play on words; Amazon/amazed, but it's too early...) Hope I haven't broken any UH rules.

I have always purchased most of my recent photo equipment from Amazon.com as we have no local camera store that is less than 2 hrs away for me to patronize. I would if I could!! I have always been pleased with Amazon.com's speed and accuracy of delivery. Also on a couple of occasions when I have had to send things back it has been a no fuss/no bother issue.

P.S. get the same from Costco.com when I can purchase from there.

And, like you Llamb, not an endorsement but simply a statement of personal experience -- sadly written as I have no local camera store to use. Oh, how I wish!!
