I posted this under the ongoing thread about privacy but I thought it was important enough to put in its own heading. Because of the misconceptions and bad info about photographers' rights and because so many of us have been hassled by ill informed law enforcement, especially since 9/11....the ACLU has published a pamphlet on the subject. I now carry a copy in my gear bag. We do have rights to pursue our hobby/business. Its at:
