where is the histogram on the Nikon D7200

Hello, I'm beginning to think the D7200 does not have a histogram for picture mode. My 7000 will allow you to view the histogram while shooting. Does anyone know if the 7200 will display in picture mode? I can find it for movie mode. Thanks Connie

You have to enable it you enable it via the Playback Display Options setting on the Playback menu. Then, press the multiselector switch down to see the RGB Histogram, and I think up to see the combined display.

With all due respect, have you read the instructions? Usually, when everything done to a camera to work is not working it is time to read the instructions.
I have a D7000 and with every shot I have a histogram available. I am sure it is the same with your D7200.

I have a question also about histogram so will hijack the post a little
Does any of the Nikon cameras give you a histogram before you click the shutter? Or is the only histogram for photos already taken?
If there is a before shutter click histogram I can't find it in menu on the D500.

You can see live histogram on any camera
only in live view, provided it has the feature. D7200 has none but we can check it after taking a photo. There is one way to check it, in live view, in video recording more, press the info button, it will show the histogram.

I still did not get it. Could you explain it for a dummy how to get a histogram on a photo shooting display on D7200?
