I don't want to be negative but why buy a nice camera like the D7100 and purchase memory cards that don't fit it or are not made for it. If you have to use an adapter to get it to fit what have you gained. As has been said, adding to the path the signal travels could possibly slow the capture a little but it also gives more locations for problems to take place.

some years ago there was info about that there were confederate sandisks around I would think that B&H would be less likely to have some.
I suppose a phone call to B&H asking if they source directly from Sandisk and if they have safeguarded against counterfeits
I CERTAINLY wouldn't trust an Amazon partner, or Amazon in this situation
