At 0205 this morning, prior to his closed door meeting with Russian dictator vladimr putin, donald rump tweeted the following: “Our relationship with Russia has NEVER been worse THANKS TO MANY YEARS OF U.S. FOOLISHNESS AND STUPIDITY.” I added caps to the last two lines for emphasis, the words are his. For all of you on the right, all who support him, how do you justify this statement? How do you explain it? What excuses can you make for him this time? Do you support what he said and if so, how, why?

as a lifelong republican, I am horrified at what has happened to the once proud GOP. they are worse than useless. if we get pout of this administration without starting a shooting war, i'll be surprised.

I think he may have been referring to the ridiculous Russian Reset destined to fail from weakness, Bill Clinton's $500,000 speech in Russia (for what in return?), The $140 million Russian bankers donated to the Clinton Fund (for what in return?), giving Russia one fifth of our Uranium supply in the Uranium One deal. Allowing Russia to annex Crimea with no opposition, Allowing Russia to hack our e******ns with nothing but a simple, now, cut that out, not supporting Ukraine with arms when they tried to resist Russia, and Obama surreptitiously telling Russia he would have more leverage after he was reelected (to do what, give more concessions?). Is that enough?

OMG! WADRespect, do we really have to sully this lovely forum with venom? A place where we come to look at beauty and photographic exceptionalism? Can’t we escape the global meltdown, at least here??
Thanks, Steve

I didn't bring this up but the record needs to be stated. Once again, libs get up in arms with what Trump says but ignore what he does which is positive and t***sformative. While they adore Obama's rhetoric, he's so well spoken, but ignore the fact that he has no positive accomplishments and has run down the country many times over..

You’re so funny...why read this forum, then? Unless you caught it in ‘upcoming topics’...but then the title should have warned you - unless maybe you thought it was a birdie?

I'll play Frank....during eight years of Obama's weakness towards not only Russia but America's enemies in general, Russia invaded Ukraine, annexed Crimea, propped up Syrian President Assad, and interfered in the 2016 e******n, sold out America to Iran, paid billions in ransom to Iran, created total chaos in Iraq through both military & political surrender and gave a new base for terrorists thanks to Obama/Clinton FUBAR in Libya....just to name a few of his foreign policy blunders.....Bush was just as bad in foreign policies. Regardless of what President Trump does or doesn't do, his presidency will be far superior to Obama's whom history will be really unkind to him.

Didn't support President Trump in the primaries, didn't even like him but did v**e for him in the General....and I thank God he won, America dodged another bullet, the other three being Gore, Kerry & Clinton. I'll continue to take the 'Crude T***h' from President Trump than Obama's continued 'Eloquent Lies.'

Where's the venom in my response? I'm just stating facts. Obviously venom is a symptom of Trump Derangement Syndrome. If you notice it's mostly directed at statements and speech, not deeds or actions. Did we all forget Actions speak louder than words? Now let's cut this out!

I agree but all of these topics are in the "Off Topics or General Chit-Chat" section...just don't go there.

I don't care what President Trump says and sometimes I don't care for it, what I do care is what he does, his actions are what's important to me....at least appointed two Constitutionalists to the Supreme Court is a fantastic start.
