Yes, I can help. Practice each day for about 6-8 years. Join a Racing Forum to pick up a few ideas. You'll know when you are ready!

Steer through all the corners real fast and work the clutch and throttle pedals smoothly. Read your owners manual cover to cover and be sure to wash the windscreen. Finally add racing air to your tyres and then check out a few of the classic racing films, you'll find them in your local library. I can highly recommend the film "Le Mans", I own a copy of it and it really helped me to be a better driver.

Google the words "car racing" and take a look at some of the photos on there that show cars racing. Pay particular attention to the way the drivers look while they are racing and practice looking like that while sitting in the drive. It is important to look professional and carry yourself like a winner.

Get a large cup or vase and practice holding it up like the winners do. Get a 2ltr bottle of soft drink and shake it up and practice spraying it around the place. And finally go to YouTube and look at all the videos on BMW or M3 and "racing" in fact you might even take a look at BMW M5.

The main thing is to have confidence and be sure to drive on all the road you see. Remember to have fun and rest assured the pit crew will love you and the other drivers will respect you when they see how well you polished your car. Just go for it, I have every confidence in you.

In fact I watched a few racing car films this spring and summer and everybody in my family said they loved the way I leaned left and right while watching the movies as the cars went through the turns. A few said I was so good I should consider taking up car racing. I'm going to think about it.

Above all, realize that if others can do this, you can too. Just look at Paul Newman, he came from a tiny town in Ohio and went on to be a movie star who played leading roles in race car films. In fact he even went on to own and run his own racing team in later years.

So, if he can do it, there should be nothing stopping you from doing it. Everyone is going to love you and how well you will be driving. Ohh and let us see some of the winners photos you will be getting after you've won all those races. Good luck, all us non racing car drivers are behind you. Well I used to Rallye a VW in the UK, when I was younger and had less fear, if that's any help to you. You will do fine in your races, don't let the likes of Fittipaldi etc. put you down.

You have ridden in a car before, in fact I'm sure you have driven one, so it is going to be much the same only a lot different. You'll do great! I wish I lived closer to you so I could come out and hold a stop watch for you.
