I did have it installed in Photoshop CC, but when Adobe updated the last time, all the Nik programs were missing.

It may simply be a matter of going into Photoshop settings and including the folder with the NIK collection files to the list of plugins. Although I don't have Photoshop CC, this is typically what works with most every other image editor I've used - manually directing the editor where to look for plugins on the hard drive.

I'm using it and keep getting a popup when I launch one of the modules from within Lighroom asking me to update to version 1.2.15.0.
I looked it up and version 1.2.15.0 is the new $50 version of NIK. So they are trying to trick me into updating to the 30 day free trial after which
I would have to shell out $50 to keep using it.
Anyone else seeing this? I hope no one fell for it.

Does the "UPGRADE" actually do anything that the old cheap free version does not? From what I have read the answer is no. It mainly fixes bugs. I have never had any bugs (at least none worth worrying about) in my copy. 99.9% of my use of NIK is Dfine2 no bugs.

I read somewhere else and did not verify this, but some felt they were tricked because after using the trial version and rejecting it their original version no longer worked.

Since I'm happy with what I have I'll stay with it until I see a reason to upgrade. Even if the upgrade was free I would not be doing it at this point.
