I used to love to go there.
Did you go on the "long" tour? All the Congress trees, the burnt out one, etc?
Really gives you some perspective.

This time we took one of the relatively shorter trails. We did visit the General Grant Tree which has a large fire scar, and walked through the "tunnel tree" that had been burned out. In the past we've seen most all of the 'named' trees. We've been there several times, and love the beauty of the giant redwoods.

Thanks, Fran! Enjoy your trip to King's Canyon/Sequoia, the trees are truly spectacular to behold. Because of their immense size, it is hard to fully capture their beauty in a photograph
