Another of your excellent, sharp air show shots.

Thank you very much, my friend, especially for the two thumbs up. Even with the photos I deleted, I ended up with 537.

Nice shot Rob. When the jets were at Otis, on the cape, I saw them all the time, zipping across Buzzards Bay. Now that they got moved to western Mass. I don't see them as much. We get the helicopters now. I miss seeing them, they are fun to watch. Gary

Thank you very much, Gary; traveling all the way and through all the traffic to Chicopee was worth the trip.

Great photos.

I was at the air show on Sunday. Very hot and humid. The show was great and the thunderbirds were fantastic.

With regards to traffic, we were quite lucky. We got to the base before 8:00 AM. Did not encounter delays in either arriving at the base or leaving the base even though we stayed to the end of the thunderbirds demonstration.

Thank you very much, dcma2005; I appreciate it. It was hot on Saturday when we went, but still fairly dry and there was often a breeze. My wife and I brought folding chairs and set them under the wings of the KC-135 tanker. We stayed at a motel very near the base and went through the gate around 7:45. The traffic was pretty thick at times, especially around Worcester, but returning Saturday wasn't quite as bad except around Worcester.

Holy moly, I rarely take more than 25 shots at any given day; maybe that is what is wrong with my photographs...not enough practice

Here's the thing, My camera has space for two memory cards, so I bought a 16 Gb card because I was always running out of space. At the airshow, there was just so much to photograph, I didn't realize how many photographs I was getting; about 1/4 of them are shots of the Thunderbirds.
