I'm the original owner of this Nikonos IV-A. It was purchased in NYC about 30+ years ago. It is virtually mint. I'm including an extra set of O Rings recently acquired on E-Bay and I purchased and installed two new 1.55V silver oxide batteries. I've printed out a full PDF of the Nikonos IV-A Instruction Manual.
The only flaws I see are two extremely small nicks on the edge of the small built-in lens hood and marks on the Flash Socket Cover in the bottom plat
I'm asking $110 and I will pay shipping.
Thanks for looking.
Do you have the bag that came with it? Thanks. Tom
Sorry. Also what lens is on it?
The lens is the Nikon Nikkor 35mm f2.5. The silver knob adjusts the distance and the black knob on the right side adjusts aperture. The camera sets the shutter speed, which is why it takes batteries. There are no LED lights on cameras of this vintage, but it all seems fine.
Truth is I never took it diving and probably only shot a test roll with it. (I gave up scuba rather quickly). I believe there are very few lenses that fit the Nikonos.
I don’t recall a bag coming with it as I almost certainly would have stored it in the bag if there were one. In any event I don’t have one.
Thanks for considering it. You can private message me if you like. I can provide more close up photos if that helps. Interior shot?
Ken
Is the Nikonos still available? 8/31/2018
Sorry. This is not my ? Somehow the site misdirected this dialogue. Tom
It is. I had decided to wait for next Spring before trying other sites. But I’ll be happy if you would like to have it. You may private message if you wish.
