Hello,
I consider myself an amateur photographer, but have loved exploring the various effects of M42 lenses on my DSLR's. I have held an interest in photography for many years, but got back into it with the purchase of a Nikon D5100.....which since got busted on one of my outings....I have enjoyed the various threads here, and look forward to learning from everyone here, and sharing images.

Hi Don!
Yes, i replaced it with a D300s, which took a while to get used to, and then picked up a D5000. I am also using a Pentax K3

Welcome to the UHH. I'm not sure what you mean by you consider yourself an amateur. If you're not earning an income doing photography then you are an amateur. I've done lots of pay jobs over the years and I am an amateur photographer.
