Where have you been all my life!!! LOL.... One of our clients told us about uglyhedgehog.com and the site blew me away. Anyway...here is an introduction of who I am.
I hope to be able to give you non bias input questions you may have from a dealers perspective. I have already learned alot from reading this forum, and look to learn more. Here goes....
Andrew (Andy) Frausini, of Pro Digital Gear, headquartered in Connecticut, is one of the general partners in their family business. Andy's hobby's include winemaking, firefighting, mountain biking, and enjoying quality time with his family. Andy is proud of his italian heritage and speaks both English and Italian. Andy was a professional photographer for 25 years (Frausini & Associates LLC), and saw industry changes in the mid to late 90's. Andy's wife Gail, continues to operate the photography business (Frausini.com) as he manages Pro Digital Gear. Andy saw many of his commercial photography account dwindle the corporations he worked for started to use stock imaging and perform photography "in house" Andy proceeded to become a photo equipment dealer, under the business name of Pro Photo Gear, representing world known brands such as Canon, Photogenic, Epson, HP, Contex, Eizo, Photo Control, and many others. With the advent of digital imaging, the transition caused rapid growth to the business, and soon the name was changed to Pro Digital Gear. Now, Pro Digital Gear, still maintains a family business attitude, as five family members are an integral part of PDG. Our business gives the pricing of the big box stores, but the good old fashion customer service that the big guys can not give. We know our many clients by name, not numbers. We have distribution in 23 different states, many independent representatives, and two web sites. (prodigitalgear.com and pdgvip.com). Each employee is a photographer and printing specialist. As Andrew nears retirement, he will continue to be an integral part of PDG, but focusing in on the independent sales rep channel. Andy has trained his staff AND children, to carry out the customer service and methods that have made their business what it is today. Contact: 888-459-1482
PS- we have many states open for an independent rep. If you have any interest in working from home, and sharing in the profits with no monetary investment, specifically in the printer industry, drop him a PM or email.

Glad to meet you, from a fellow New Englander and fellow "Andy".

Your expression in that photo indicates there must be quite a story behind it....
