I found out recently, there are no wild native species of horse other than the zebra. Interesting. They all are descendants or hybrids, if that's the right word, of them.

Depends on how you define "horse" and "wild". There are no free, in their natural habitat, horses that preceded the domestic horse. The horse family includes Zebra, asses, Onager and some other donkey relatives. Przewalski's horse is no longer in its native habitat, only in Zoos. There are many feral horses in different areas like the mustang. The Zebra is in the horse family but is not a horse.
