Friggatriskaidekaphobia...
...or paraskevidekatriaphobia: FWIW, some good and bad events you might not know are linked with this fear:
1) "...but in this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes." (On a letter written by this statesman on Friday the 13th, November, 1789)
2) This "master of suspense" was born on Friday the 13th, August, 1899.
3) Birth of heavy metal, Friday the 13th, February, 1970.
4) The world of video games was never the same after its launch in Japan, Friday the 13th, Sept. 1985.
5) Returned to this city 108 years after it hosted the first modern summer games, on Friday the 13th, August, 2004.
6) Brace yourself when this asteroid, Apophis, flies by our planet on Friday the 13th, April, 2029.
Never heard it with the Frigga- in front of triskaidekaphobia, but if that's what it is....

Ah, but is it only Christians that link friday and 13 as being 'double trouble'?
A Friday on the 13th is quite frequent. Having 4 equal weeks in February is much rarer (this year)
Perhaps I shouldn't push my luck - my birthday falls on a friday,

We generally have two Friday the 13ths every year.
I'm not sure what you mean by "4 equal weeks" -- all weeks are equal. February is exactly 4 weeks (28 days) 3 out of 4 years.
Friday marks the end of a normal work week and the beginning of the weekend. For some it's also payday. But look out for Monday the 13th!

This is what I was thinking.
I intentionally quite smoking on a Friday the 13th years ago. Worked out well for me, haven't looked back.
Why is 13 an unlucky number to us? Look at the Great Seal of the United States: There are 13 letters in e pluribus unum, 13 clouds, 13 arrows in the eagle’s talon, 13 olives and 13 leaves on the olive branch, 13 stripes on the sheild and 13 feathers in it’s tail. All those 13s and were the luckiest country on the planet.

And, on 14 June 1777, the Continental Congress adopted the following resolution: "RESOLVED, that the flag of the 13 United States be 13 stripes, alternate red and white: That the union be 13 stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constellation."
