I recently purchased a Vivitar 28-200 mm K 'A' mount lens made for the film camera, used it with my ME Super and liked it.
You have surely heard of the mounting problem with such lenses; the oversize lens lever guard contacts a projection in the body that prevents mounting.
Yesterday, being unusually ambitious, I set up my milling machine; and after removing the guard ring from the lens, I cut the guard down to size.
Setting up the mill took me about one hour.
Cutting the guard ring, after mounting on mill, 10 to 15 seconds.
It occurred to me that maybe a local to 21084, Pentaxian might have a like situation. I am going to leave my mill set-up for a couple weeks, if you are interested contact me by Private Message for details.
Dang that looks so much better than the job I did with snips and a file LOL
Does that lens have the Ricoh pin and did you remove it if it does?

One of the main things for me was having the need to use my other toys.
Two expensive hobbies are more fun than just one.
