is the little green heron because it uses
"tools" to catch its prey. i saw this one near
lake peachtree at battery way in ptc.
i spotted another one on a branch and was about to
take the shot when a lady walked up behind me and said in a rather loud voice
what are you shooting? i said nothing...you scared it away. lol.

They are really shy. It took me two years to a good shot and that one was perched in a tree.

the one the lady scared off was on a branch near the cart path, and there were some branches in the way.
i was only 10 feet away from the little heron, and was trying to sneak around to where i had a better view.
