I am always fascinated by how a camera can capture a life with just a posture, an expression, or . . . a weathered hand at work.
These images were shot the other day with my new Sony A6500/Zeiss Lens in full auto mode. I forgot to change the settings so the whole large set was shot in JPEG! Drat. It was supposed to be in Raw.
I have noticed that I'm a lot less intimidating doing informal shooting with a compact vs my normal full frame gear which is nice. (do miss the Canon colors).
The electrician working on my house load center was working very quickly so it was difficult to get a shot in, but I managed a few marginal ones. Post processing was a simple tweek in Lightroom since they were JPEG and not usable to me in my commercial portfolio. Shucks.
The second one would've "nailed it" with a bit more depth of field, IMHO.
Oh well. Enjoy the images.

#2 is my favorite. I have worked in the electrical trades 50 years and have an appreciation for the work it takes to put a panel together. You captured the feel of the work.

I noticed that also. I wonder how many people would be aware of that.

Not many I suspect, nor the repercussion of a "mistake".
He was also changing out some of the "double pole" breakers down below which exposed the main bar.
Touching that means. . .

Yeah, I was in a closet and didn't dare move, so my wife came with a flashlight. I had copper bits in my safety glasses.
