My first targeted HDR expedition downtown. (And my first post)
I bit over cooked but with out it they just looked like buildings. I personally like the surreal effect.
I have played with HDR in the past and this is my first serious photo shoot attempt.
Done with Photomatix Pro. The 3rd shot is meh but I have 3 upload slots .

I like the last one best. Too bad there is a trash can there. It kind of distracts me. I like them for their artistic look as well. There will be "haters" but in the end, you have shots that make you happy. Just my 2 cents
I also like the look of the surreal effects that this type of HDR processing does to architecture. I normally prefer the more realistic look but if these make you happy then that is all that matters. P.S. I don't mind the trash can; it works with this.
Thanks for the comments. I have some HDR that is very realistic with cars but prefer this effect on buildings.
The settings for this was between painterly and grunge.
Cheers.
Going a bit extreme is always fun in HDR. In your case it worked good in the first photo, but looses some when the trees are included in the third shot.

This degree of HDR effect has its place as demonstrated by your pictures. I like the second picture best.
Thanks for looking and commenting, I need to get out more often.
