Thanks for the offer, but I just bought a new SONY 16-50. I might be interested in the 25/1.8 at a later date, but not now. I'll comment on the 16-50 in a new string after I analyze my tsts. DrJ

No problem. The only thing I don't like about my 16-50 is the power zoom, I'm not a power zoom kind of guy. but I have friends that shoot video and the like the power zoom a lot.

I agree with you concerning power zoom. i also noticed that the 16-50 won't fit properly on my tripod unless a put a rubber washer under it to enable the ring to turn freely. DrJ
