With all the comments about photo file formats; i.e., JPEG, RAW, TIFF, etc. is there a hard cover book or an on line source for photographic definitions? :?: :-D

try google. or a basic intro to photography book will have a glossory, or look under FAQ. raw tiff and jpeg are different formats for storing your photos. think of raw as a negative, camersa does no processing or compressing the file to make it smaller. tiff is an older format that offersno advantage over raw and can be even bigger files than raw. jpeg is really for the web offers smaller file sizes but does process your photos to an extent.
