Fireworks and more

These were all taken from the riverwalk in downtown Wilmington, NC. I had several issues getting the fireworks pictures but these are a few that turned out ok. The battleship is the USS North Carolina. The ship is permanently docked and is open for tours. We toured the ship the day before and it was really cool. I hope you enjoy! Please leave comments!

I used bulb mode and I think f11. Iso 100. The main issues I had were to street light on either side of my photos causeing excess light. I had to crop the images to try and elimamte the big light spots in the corners. I'm glad you liked them. Thank you for commenting.

I used a tripod for the fireworks shots. The others are handheld. Don't know how much the tripod helped, it is a very cheap one and I don't have a shutter remote so I still had to push the button on the camera to start and stop each shot. I took way more attempts then what I posted...most didn't turn out.

Nicely done Maggie! Fire works aren't easy to get just right! It's nice to see you shooting again!

Thank you Snap Shot. Life kind of got in the way for awhile. I really enjoyed my vacation and getting to put my camera to use.
