Why can I get the same price for a camera w/kit lens vs. w/kit lens and other stuff? Maybe non-US Warr?
Yes, half the 'stuff' I would not use anyway.

Your links show the offerings as being from two different sellers, Cameta and Amazon. The one from Cameta (with stuff) says, "Please contact the seller directly for warranty information for this product."

My experience with the "other stuff" is it's mostly worthless. The tripod that came with a bundle I foolishly bought was too flimsy for even a bridge camera.

My suspicion is the one who asks you to contact them about the warranty might be selling grey market cameras.

Maybe it's a method of skirting the MSRP prices. B&H typically offer a 4% store "Gift Card." Others offer similarly valued freebies.

Usually, the other stuff is mostly junk.

Use it to hold a speedlight and trigger setup

And wish you'd listened to the sage advice you received when you asked for help but did otherwise ...

Is the sage advice directed at me?

By the way, I have been informed that I posted links in the Main discussion forum and that is a no-no for which I apologize to all. And thanks to all for the advice.

Agreed. The "terrific bundle" is usually crap. And, if there is ever a better definition of Grey Market merchandise beyond, "Please contact the seller directly for warranty information for this product," I have not heard of one.

I was surprised to see an old-school cable shutter release. I didn't think anybody made or used these anymore.

Those two links show Cameta Camera listing clearly showing USA warranty. I have bought 3 cameras from Cameta in the last 2 1/2 years with "kits" and they all had USA warranty along with the package of "stuff". 1/3 was useful, the rest will never be used. Cameta was timely shipped, packaged well and zero issues.

I also have had excellent prices and service dealing with Cameta. They over longer warranties on factory refurbs at no extra charge.
