You as well Angela always have a positive comment, thank you very much. We took your advice and after looking at youtube, mixed up a bucket of dish soap and water and knocked the beetles in it. That seems to stop them in their tracks and if we continue that for a few days I believe we will get the upper hand.

Glenn, glad to hear that method worked... there was another one I watched that seemed interesting with warm water, yeast and a rotten banana... the smell seems to attract them right into the jug!! Thankfully your hummers will still have your beautiful flowers and you can share!!
