I was out having my coffee and I thought I'd take a shot. Any improvements? Thanks!

Hey, that's my bunny!!!! Ha ha. We (wife and I) were watching a little one in the yard last night....I was going to shoot but the back lighting was even worse than in your shot, as it was getting late.. Cute! A little fill flash or reflected sunlight, might help.
Cute! Some post processing, selecting the rabbit, boosting the contrast and other things a bit as you see fit, then reversing the selection to de-emphasize the background as you see fit would possibly help.
Thanks!....working progress! :)
I like the backlighting. The subject could be brought out some for more detail, but it's still a nice shot.

I like the shot, the subject and the backlighting.....it just needs a little brightening up to really pop, whichever way you get there (PP or some lighting help in the shot). IMHO of course.

It’s all about the eyes; and because of the backlighting they are lost in the shadows. Post processing will easily solve the issue. And while on the subject of eyes, the blade os grass in the second photo does nothing to help.

Wife and I love bunnies. We have babies around the barn nowadays. They nest amongst the stable equipment.
I couldn't resist playing with the picture.
Just another interpretation. I think my studio stuff is set for Adobe RGB so click (download) to see some subtle changes.
Just global edits to bring out the eyes. Move subject to foreground by adjusting shadows, etc. Photoshop could clean up here and there, distracting elements, hair over the eyes. etc.
Just want to reach out and pet the little fella.
Thanks for posting.
