Travels With Bob.......Misc Photos from Barcelona, Spain.
Just trying to complete that cruise we took two years ago from Florida to Barcelona! So here's a few miscellaneous shots that I've had notes on for awhile with intentions of sharing..."someday"! Barcelona is certainly an interesting city to visit & to walk around. Not sure what 10 shots I will share as I sit here......but will give it a go! Bob

(10) What I remember most about this park was the uphill climb we made to get to it! Got smart at the end & caught a cab back to our hotel!

Nice series Bob, Thanks for sharing. Bob
Gauidi was way ahead of his time and it still looks amazing . It looks like a gull just by the way, on the statue!

Nice ones Bob..Barcelona is a fascinating city.
Great shots of one of my favoriterite cities. Tip for your next time. Take the subway to the stop after Parc Guell. There are open air escalators all the way up to the top of the park with an easy stroll and great photo ops walking back to the main gate.
Long cruise! Two years! Florida to Barcelona! Great shots, tho. Barcelona is on my short list.
Wow, Bob. Excellent series. The intricate architectural detail is amazing and you captured this city’s charm.
Great series. What a beautiful city.
Excellent series, Bob! Thanks for sharing.
Nice shots Bob. I like your perspectives. I’m actually in Barcelona right now clicking away. I will try to share a few when I have a minute or when I get back home. Thanks for sharing.
Chris
Thanks Bob for checking out the misc Barcelona photos & appreciate the triplets with thumbs up! Glad you enjoyed them. Bob

Thanks Adicus for your kind comment on my Barcelona experience. It's a great city to visit & explore. You're probably correct about that being a gull on the statue! Close to where that was taken there were swarms of pigeons so I guess I missed the difference. I can see it now!! Much appreciated, Bob

Thanks repleo…..for the "Tip" for my next visit! Our walk up the hill started from the red (or green) bus route located below the park area. We eventually did make our way to the top of the park & did get to enjoy the "easy stroll" back to the main gate. Views were very nice from up there & once down by the gate.....that's when we caught a cab back to the hotel. Next time....will have to find those air escalators! Glad you enjoyed the shots. Much appreciated, Bob

Thanks cameraf4.....for bringing a smile to my face with your opening remark...."Long cruise" Two years! Florida to Barcelona!" As you can probably tell.....I enjoy posting some of our travels & sharing somewhat of a photo storyline. I began posting this particular cruise in May of 2016. Unfortunately we had one of those life interruptions that brought me to a halt. On June 12th, 2016 our youngest daughter (39 then) lost her husband. He was 42 & due to some health issues that seemed to be beyond his control....he passed away. I did a post on July 27, 2016 called "A Peaceful Moment...." that explained the situation as we turned our undivided attention her direction. I've done several other more current posts since that time with the intent of someday wrapping that trip up. This post almost completes what I wanted to do with it. I might add one more post showing a humorous moment that happened at a restaurant on our last night in Barcelona.....in a few days. One of my main reasons for wanted to complete this is that we have an exciting vacation planned for later this summer to celebrate our 50th anniversary & to be able to share some of those upcoming pictures in a timely manner. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to explain this 2 year gap for perhaps someone else who may have wondered....why? Appreciate your comment. Bob
