What is it you wish to convey to the viewers ,that you are into flying insects , or are you wanting feed back , there lined up neat and that's
About all I can say , but if your looking for good photos of bugs you need a proper Marco lens ,for some close ups . But get one larger than a 9o mm more like a 150 mm

If you go to the beginning of this thread, it may make more sense. Just thought some would enjoy these insects. Sorry to bother you.

I use tubes with a 40mm canon lens and can get about 2x. These insects are mostly too large to be shown much larger. I have posted in macro. Saving for "real"macro. Your second point is unanswerable. Thanks for looking.

Sorry Newtoyou. I believe you may have misinterpreted my point, which was directed back at 'IBM'. 'IBM', called it a "MARCO lens" so I thought I would point out to him/her that comment was quite judgmental. Now, go back and read my comment again and see if makes better sense.

I quit paying attention to spelling, and other mistakes. Someone wishes to look illiterate, not my place to school them. Your comment was understood both times. Thanks again. Bill

I never called any thing a macro lens , I said you should get one , and if these are shown because he thinks there good ???, or if it's just shown to display his storage site , that's good showed how good he she can organize,

Full disclosure. I am posting on macro on occasion. These do not fit on macro. I thought some would like to see them. I see many insects, but have not seen most of these posted. It was for possible interest of others. Obviously not your area of interest.

Seeing them would be a key word . The storage unit is nice but the bugs them selves could use a little help , so you succeeded, the storage
Is immaculat , that's great

Great collection of a wide variety of insects and thanks for sharing them. I've never seen most of these before so they are all new to me. Taking their picture is hard the way it is. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to catch them..! I suspect that you have years of effort in your collection.

Been at this since I was ten(1957). Got some formal education in 70's. Have specimens from 73,75. Much was given away to various pros, the bulk of the rest to U of Md. Thanks for looking. You, sir, show promise, your photography is far superior to mine. My entomology knowledge excedes yours. We are both trying to improve our knowledge in a new field. Carpe insectum, curo cum. That's Latin, Darlin'. Bill
