if you are pretty good at math, you will know that that sort of calculation ALWAYS results in 9

Oh you got to be kidding, I mean you do start with a random number between 1 and 9...

correct; but the way the number is put through the arithmetic steps, the sum of the 2 digits will always come out 9. Why don't you experiment with different starting numbers.

I am pretty good at math, so I did it in my head, then on paper, and finally on a calculator just to confirm my numerical capabilities... I even tried my old Abacus that I've had forever!

Each time I got the same answer, and sure enough it IS my very favorite movie EVER!

DO NOT CHEAT and scroll down to the movies. Do YOUR math, THEN compare the results to the list of movies at the bottom

You will be AMAZED at how scary true and accurate this test is

1. Pick a number from 1-9.

2. Multiply that number by 3.

3. Add 3.

4. Multiply by 3 again.

5. Your total will be a two digit number. Add the first and second digits together to find your favorite movie (of all time) in the list of 17 movies below:

Movie List:

1. Gone With the Wind
2. E.T.
3. Blazing Saddles
4. Star Wars
5. Forrest Gump
6. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
7. Jaws
8. Grease
9. President Obama: Best President Ever
10. Casablanca
11. Jurassic Park
12. Shrek
13. Pirates of the Caribbean
14. Titanic
15. Raiders of the Lost Ark
16. Home Alone
17. Mrs. Doubtfire

Now, isn't that something? I just can't believe it...
I am pretty good at math, so I did it in my head, ... (show quote)

It doesn't matter which 1-9 number you pick.
You'll still end up with movie #9. That's not a good joke.

Quite the contrary . . . #9 IS the joke!

Thankfully, four years from now, we will be commenting on how Romney did, good or bad.

You should watch it. It is a fantasy, with some unsettling twists in the plot throughout. Some people think it deserves an award but, unfortunately for the principle players, the only organization considering it for an award is Comic-Con.

Where are all the liberals in this thread? This is like shooting fish in a barrel
