Here is an updated rumors about upcoming Nikon full frame mirrorless cameras. According to NR, Nikon is rumored to announce two new full frame mirrorless cameras at the end of this month, and the release date is at the end of August.

Below are detailed specs of Nikon full frame mirrorless cameras:

Two full frame mirrorless cameras: one is 24-25MP CMOS sensor and one is 45MP CMOS sensor (48MP is also a possibility).
Similar body size to the recently released Sony a7 III camera but with better ergonomics and a better grip. (To compete with Sony a7 III)
5-axis in-body stabilization
9fps
New mirrorless mount
The new mirrorless mount will allow for f/0.95 lenses – Nikon has already filed NOCT trademark and f/0.9 lens patents
Memory cards: XQD and CF Express
EVF resolution: 3.6MP

At first, three lenses will be announced: 24-70mm, 35mm and 50mm (The 35 and 50mm prime lenses will likely be f/1.4). There is also talk about a 24mm, but it may come later.
Pricing:

The 45MP model will be around $4,000/€4,000 in a kit with the 24-70mm lens.

The 25MP model will be under $3,000/€3,000 (also with a lens).

The official announcement is rumored for the end of July (on or around July 23rd) and shipping shortly after (August 23rd). Maybe we will see the development announcement at the end of July and the official announcement before Photokina 2018.

Thanks for the information. A new mount could be a deal breaker for many of us having invested in F mount lenses. Perhaps they’ll offer a quality mount converter.

What's up with the rumors that XQD cards are gonna disappear?

The news are not exciting to me. The prices are ridiculously high.
I stay with Olympus.

But Nikon would not be so stupid to use the F mount on their new cameras.

I think most of the rumors are true. Everything looks reasonable but then no competition to Sony.

Here is a fact, not a rumor.... I will not purchase a Nikon mirrorless camera. The prices are absurd and the new lens mount requires new lenses. Not excited. Fuji working great for me.

A goodly number of our friends who have Nikon won't buy a D850, not because of price, but because they all have hand problems ie can't manage for long periods with the weight of a full body and large lens. But they are Nikon users so they would buy mirrorless cameras.

Do your friends know about the Nikon Df? Many of us Hogs love ours. Much smaller and lighter than D800 series cameras.

For Nikon to drop the f mount I feel will be a must as mounting distance is different, mirrored vs mirrorless. I’ve got a whole bunch of cash tied to my F mount lenses, I needed a quiet camera for indoor plays and musical so A9 I tried aa bunch of different adapters at my camera store nothing was better than 50% keepers so I invested in a couple G lenses slowly I’m dumping Nikon and that is after 50 years of nikon only. I don’t see Nikon making an adapter for mirrorless that will make all of my glass work as well on mirrorless as it does on my D5 or D500

It is amazing how many supposed 'news' sites quote Nikon Rumors. The ones I've seen do make it clear that it is all rumors.

Another rumor that was floated a couple of weeks ago based on a patent filing pertained to an adapter to use F mount lenses with full functionality. They noted it was very complex and would be very expensive, but did not venture at an actual price.
