So I had a couple of glasses of wine with dinner and I am feeling brave. I admit to playing around in pp just to see what I could do.

I was working on a shot of these really awesome 20ft tall metal sculpted flowers in front of a very unusual colorful fence. It was not really going the way I wanted it to so I decided to just see what would happen. There is just something about it that I like.

My apologies for not posting a download. I didn't have the actual pic on my iPad so I used a thumbnail I downloaded. I wanted to do it while I had the nerve. It is so out of my wheelhouse. Feel free to tell my how cheesey it is.

Very cool! Thank you for sharing. I suppose we all go through a phase like this when we are learning. Some appear to stick with it and produce some really cool pieces.

I like it too! Recognizable elements with attractive curves and viewed from a unique perspective. Fun and engaging.

Whatever wine you had was working, keep drinking it. I think this is cool and fun! It makes people look at it and think.

Imagination great. I like your rendition.

Suggestion: You clipped off part of the leaf, I have run into that problem even with adjusting prospective. Solution is to increase the canvas size and so that which would be lost is in canvas. The crop is made and you can cheat and change aspect ratio a bit... when you enlarge the canvas, you can pick a color, in this case the sky blue and fill all sky with the same blue [bucket]. Possibility also is to increase the canvas and clone before applying the swirl...

To play, create, and cheat if needed is divine. Fun is what it is about.

Part of the challenge of shooting someone else's sculptures is that they are often just documentation shots of artwork that was created by someone else. Here you are using the artwork and transforming it according to your fancy. That makes is more than just documentation. You are, in effect, making it your own interpretation. You have created a nice abstract. Well done.

Good to see you experimenting. This type of thing, however, is all over the place, and seems out of sync with your talents. Okay, I'm guessing.

I appreciate your honesty Bob. It was not meant to be a serious piece, nor did I put a whole lot of thought in it. It's just something fun with pretty colors but the wine was good.

And the picture is good.

I see old energy in the form of a wave crashing down from the left, and new energy in the flowers reaching up towards the sky...am I over-analyzing?

And, no, I haven't had any wine yet!
