Excellent company to deal with for both buying or selling. Best of luck.

I am considering buying some photo gear from KEH Photo. Wanted to know your experience with this store. Thanks for your feedback.
I've dealt with them for many years and have always been satisfied.

I have bought several cameras and lenses from them and have been quite satisfied doing business with them.
I have had good luck both buying lenses from them and selling cameras and lenses to them. Obviously, I could get more (maybe with Ebay), but got tired of scams and other things. The items I bought from them used (Ex or Ex+) have been like new.
I have sold & bought several items. They have been very fair and trustworthy in evaluations & prices. I recommend to my friends. Shang
I've bought LN- and some EX+ lenses from them, I've been extremely satisfied. The LN- lens looked brand new and the EX+ was really, really nice. I've also changed my mind and returned a lens and the return process was as smooth as could be. Another really nice thing is that since I live in the Florida panhandle I always get the merchandise the day after they ship it.
I have bought several things from KEH, most recently an Olympus OM-D E5ii and kit lens. I sold Olympus film cameras and manual focus lenses to them both in person (they make buying trips in the south) and by mail and the prices offered were good (this was 2-5 years ago), but recently sent a Nikon D60 and two lenses and the offers were pitiful. They do send you a pre paid mailer for you to use, and they return what you don't want to sell to them, also prepaid. So it's no risk to try. If you are in the Atlanta area you can visit the warehouse, but they are not really prepared to show a lot of gear; no place to spread it out, no place to sit and ponder. However, i was trying to decide between the Oly E5 and the E 10 and was in Atlanta, so went there and they brought those two cameras and a lens each out for me to hold and get a feel for. Staff is mostly very knowledgeable and helpful, by email, phone, or in person. I don't think there is any risk in buying used gear from them.

I have bought several things from KEH, most recent... (

FYI...At the current time, a Nikon D60 has almost no value. Their quote to me, moments ago, at $ 52, was more than fair. If you would offer that to most, no one would be interested. I'd consider $25 a fair trading price among friends. Said with all due respect.
i have bought several items from them over the years. Good and reliable on the purchasing end. The prices are good and delivery is timely; I live in the Atlanta area so I also pay state sales tax.
However on the selling side i have recently found them to be slow in responding and their offers are not worth my selling. So I keep my old items and post them on Craigslist and wait.
Great place. Honest and their ratings are right on. Very reputable.

B and H is number one for new equipment, with Adorama being a close second. However, KEH is superior for used equipment. It has a much larger selection than either of its New York-based competitors.
I will second that. I have purchased several used lenses and a Sony camera over the past four or five years. Never a problem. I once got the wrong lens and they took it back no charge even though the mistake was with me not doing my due diligence and not asking questions before buying. Everything I have ever purchased has been at least what they advertised, usually better. Who else offers a six month warranty on a used camera?
KEH is a good vendor. I bought a Minolta "beercan" from them and it was in tip-top shape at a good price. Be prepared, though, to expect at least an email a day from them for the rest of your life.
I have bought a camera and 2 lenses . They are easy and knowledgeable and offer a warranty.
