For the most part the building is sealed up and has an intact metal roof.
It might not be abandoned and can be used for storage.

Thank you for taking a look and commenting. I appreciate it. Just from the appearance of the building and the fact that I could not get very close to it, it appeared to be abandoned. But you are correct that it could still possibly be used for some purpose.

Neat series of shots, well composed and lit. I'm always looking for old buildings like this when we take rambles out from the Houston area. Hard to find anything where there aren't big dogs nearby to chase you back to your car. We like looking for old houses and barns in the area between Winedale, Warrenton and Industry when out bluebonnet hunting.

Thank you very much Steve for taking a look and commenting. We don't get over into central TX as much as I would like, but when we do, I usually find something worth shooting.

Thank you very much Sylvia for looking in and commenting. I always appreciate it. When we get away from the big urban areas, I often see things like this, and I usually get some worthwhile images.

While on a country drive over in central TX recently, I spotted this old building and decided to stop and get a few shots. Due to a fence and locked gate, I could not get right up to the building, so had to shoot from about 70 yards away. Could not tell just what it had been used for, perhaps a house or maybe a small store. We don't see many things like this in the Houston area because when buildings become too old for further use, they are simply demolished to make way for something new. Comments welcome and I hope you enjoy.
