Here's a shot from last year of a tidal estuary in Kennebunk, Maine. I'm posting it as an example of what I try to do in post processing, with a little boost in clarity, some cropping, and a small boost in the blue values of the sky. Any comments or suggestions for further edits are welcomed.

On my monitor, most of the details on the left side of the image are lost in darkness ....that would be my concern with what you are showing .

I lowered the contrast a few points, and brightened the exposure a tad. I generally like my images a bit more contrasty than some. Folks. I should note that a majority of the work I've done in Lightroom has been on B/W images so far.

I have no objections to anyone who wishes making further experiments on this to their preferred tastes.

Place a radial filter on the left, concentrating on the tree and the shadow area and open up shadows. And, the upper sky is unnaturally blue for this probable altitude. You see deep blues like that in locations above 10,000 ft, but not here.
