Our son remarried a few years ago and Alexiana was the first of the new family. She will 7 on Friday. This as taken at school for her birthday party. They celebrated the birthdays of the children who were born in the summer the last two weeks of the school year. She is reading a birthday story to the class.

The first one is a beautiful shot, but the blue just doesn't work. The second one is great.

Thanks Erv, I was undecided on the color and probably should have consulted with the better half. She is a quilter and very good with colors.
I agree with Erv. Loose the border around the first image, and it will be much better; IMHO. Love the second one.

With a good looking model you don't need any border. :) Just her!

Okay here it is without the border. I am thinking you are right.

Thank you Stargazer. I did what you and Erv suggested and you were right. It is definitely better without the border. This little girl has made our retirement a total joy. We were totally blessed when she came into our lives.

Now that is a picture to keep! Next time you catcher her sitting around, take another one, but get down to her level and see if you don't like it better. It is only hard getting up! :)

Yes that getting up part is getting tougher all the time. If I had known how tough I would have retired at 20 and went to work at 65. LOL
