Being a science guy....that's what came to my mind too. The actual specimen of amber used in the movie Jurassic Park, is located at the amber museum in the Dominican Republic. Perhaps this assignment calls for you to take a "field trip?"
Hello Photogeneralist, should be:“Hoisted by my own petard”. Originated by Shakespeare in Hamlet. “For ‘‘tis the sport to have the engineer hoist with his own petard”

Well, Carlosu,
Shakespeare who? (Or is that whom? WTF...who cares.). I knew a Shakespeare once....his family made fishing reels and sporting equipment.
"Me thinks thou dost protest too much..." (Hamlet Act 3, Scene 2)
(Actual quote...."The lady doth protest too much, methinks.")
But then, what does any of this have to do with the OP's question?

Just take a picture that is reminiscent of the early 20th century and select a sepia tone in post processing.
Wikipedia has an amber article. Amber is fossilized tree resin. The color range runs dark to light. If you have an amber subject, shoot a picture. Then take it into Photoshop and hover the cursor over it and read the RGB numbers and note how they change as you move the cursor around. Amber is not a single color.
Amber holds old answers to new questions...
[quote=trainspotter]Dilly..Dilly!
There are as many as thirty verses to the song, and many variations of each verse. A typical version, described by James Halliwell in 1849,[1] is:
Lavender's blue, dilly dilly, lavender's green,
When I am king, dilly dilly, you shall be queen:
Who told you so, dilly dilly, who told you so?
'Twas mine own heart, dilly dilly, that told me so.
Call up your men, dilly dilly, set them to work,
Some with a rake, dilly dilly, some with a fork;
Some to make hay, dilly dilly, some to thresh corn,
Whilst you and I, dilly dilly, keep ourselves warm.
If you should die, dilly dilly, as it may hap,
You shall be buried, dilly dilly, under the tap;
Who told you so, dilly dilly, pray tell me why?
That you might drink, dilly dilly, when you are dry.[1]
Have a friend who sang with the greats... When he does this on stage, with his professional, polished baritone voice, everyone is in heaven. Actually, I cry.
Take a picture of a clean urinal and make them guess. LoL

My recollection is that in the first Jurrrasic Park, it was the DNA of an amphibian from an "ambered "mosquito that was spliced into the DNA extracted from a dinosaur fossil. Is my memory of the story line from years ago now failing?

Haven't revisited the original movie in years. I seem to believe it was the DNA of a dinosaur from an "amber" mosquito, that was spliced into the DNA of an amphibian (frog)?
Whatever....great idea for a movie.
