Loc: I am from Gaffney, S.C. but live in Utah.
While stationed at Fort Bragg in 1960 I went into Fayetteville one pay day night and discovered this camera in a pawn shop. The dealer started at $35.00 and I started at $20 and we finally met at $27.00. The camera was almost new. It had a roll of film in it, which I finished and developed. There was a photo taken in Korea, one in Hawaii and one at a residence in the States. I figure the previous owner bought the camera in Korea took the three photos and then after arriving at Fort Bragg decided to hock it for beer money. I got a good deal. It still functions although the rangefinder is out of alignment. The camera is a Petri 35 mm Green Window range finder camera....all metal...heavy. 1 to 1/500 seconds shutter speeds, f2.8 lens. I was in heaven.

Great story Mike and enjoy the camera.Estimate the distance and forget the RF
Great deal and wonderful camera to keep using. If you want to get the rangefinder operational, check Tempe Camera Repair. Joe is great with these old cameras.
