I received a new lens today and ran out to test it. Upon return, I found that I had left my #1 memory card in the card reader. I downloaded shots from the #2 card. Then I went back out with the #1 card in its proper slot in the camera. Now, I can see my shots on the camera, but when I attempt to download via the card reader, the shots do not appear.

Yup, had that happen. Use the camera cable and download direct from the camera.

Agree with Dave - I do not use a card reader - just tether the camera and download directly. Used to use a reader and often got errors from it.

Welcome to my "Aw Poop!" club. I lost track of how many times I've left my 256 gig SD card in the PC at home and take the camera out with only the 8 gig Compact Flash card in it. Because the camera functions as usual, I don't realize what happened until I find out that the card quickly fills up shooting both RAW and JPEG files together.
