I got lucky and caught the Huntington Beach NSSA Surfing contest. The waves were less than ideal but the young surfers were ripping and shreding. Future pros in the making.

...I'm hoping to have a chance to scoot down tomorrow to san clemente and shoot a few surfers...coupla days ago there were so many by the pier they were practically surfing on top of each other.... but I don't think I can hope to do as well as these!

Diocletian, if you are shooting from the San Clemente pier, you will have a great vantage point to get similar photos to mine here on this series. If the waves are good, you will have lots of surfers there to photograph. Thanks Diocletian for your positive thoughts on this series.
