This is my Father in Law. Navy man, WWII and Korea. I had the opportunity to know him for 37 yrs and had a great time hearing the history and having a beer here and there over the years. As an Army guy we had quite the conversations from time to time, they were lively poking fun at one another and the things I learned from Bob over the years was quite amazing. He was always a friend and someone I could talk to about whatever. I'm going to miss him but i'll never forget him.

I too served in the navy during Korea. What ship was he on. I was on the DDR 889 USS O"Hare.

I believe he was on the malamar then diamond head then oak hill, it was an Ammo ship
