These abandoned homes and farms always make me wonder what happened to the families.

You so often take thought provoking photos. When I get that close to an old building I want to go in.

Love photographing old houses, barns and vehicles that have been abandoned and left to the elements. Like GrandmaJoy, I always want to explore further and try to sleuth out some history.

Like the way the sky turned out on this one.

glad I'm not the only one that's done a little harmless trespassing to explore, photograph and imagine what it was like back in the day. sometimes there spooky or sad but always intriguing.

They do have a certain type of allure. Sad that they are slowly disappearing.

Thanks for the kind words.

I'll let you in on a little secret, I did go in. I really wanted to see if there might have been some clue to it's past.

Thanks for the kind words.

This is another clumsy attempt at HDR. This is a straight forward single shot

Thanks for the kind words.

I would liked to have gone in with you. I love exploring old places and think about the people that would have lived there. By the way I like both shots.
