What you show is so. But, and there is always a but, the wait time is up to one year. When in Nam did you know any who were applying for entry because of violence in the country and thus wanted asylum? The wait list was years!

The parents are arrested for breaking US laws, do you really believe the children should be held in prison environment with their adult parents? We don't do that with US citizens who are arrested and held for violating US laws. Why should we make exceptions for non-citizens?

First off, the parents are Arrested right, innocent until proven guilty, so why are they in prison at all?

And how are the kids guilty for accompanying their parents? If they broke the law at all, it is a very academic definition. If they ride in a car and the driving parent is drunk, do the kids go to Alcrataz for drunk driving?

Remember, these people come here to escape US crime—OUR supporting a national drug habit that has destroyed all of Central America and its various governments. Are we so very pure? Are we so insulted by crime? Ours is the crime that pays for this!

This is our own doing, damnit!! For this, we abduct children and hide them around the country to deter the crime That We Pay For And That We Cause??
