how far do you take them before releasing? they cleaned out my koi pond.... confirmed with a trail camera. ..thought it was herons at first.

From the Marin County Marine Mammal Center, a wonderful rescue organization that rescues, rehabilitates, and releases. It is near Sausalito, across the Golden Gate Bridge from SF.
Here is a hungry little waif who knows it's feeding time. Many are not injured but just don't know how to feed and need to be trained to fish and eat.

Hijacking the thread for just a moment. Many Free Sunday regulars wouldn't have known it, but Roadrunner celebrated birthday # 80 the end of last week. I don't think so yet. Neighbor just paid a big price for a pest control outfit to catch some that got into their attic. I told him I probably already caught some of them. They got one and I've caught two plus a possum. Who knows when the herd will be depleted.
