This appeared in the internet posted by bestlifeonline.com by Ashley Moor titled, "50 So Magical Destinations You Won't Believe They're in the US." Have you taken photos of any of these places? How many places? (Me, just 3.) Do you agree with her list? Do you have some magical places in mind that should have been included? Instead of just attaching the link to the article, I created a slideshow of these magical destinations. With the 4th of July just around the corner, I felt a heightened feeling of pride and patriotism while creating the slideshow especially with that great song rendered by that equally great singer in the background. Check it out and I hope you like it. Here's the link to the slideshow (4 minutes - Best if viewed in big screen smart TV with decent pair of speakers.): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tI4yJGGcww

That list is incomplete. It does not include Adirondack Park in upstate NY. God's country!

A quick scroll through, I've been to at least 11. I was in Cade's Cove yesterday, #37 :)

I've hit 14 of this list, but I agree, there are more that people should see.

Truly some magical places and obviously there are many more in the USA, some dependent on how much "natural" or "man-made" you wish to list. Although I have been to 45 states for one reason or another, sadly have only seen 7 of these so far. Question: How did you get permission to make this and post on YouTube, as well as the Ray Charles song? Did you write the author (or Galvanized Media) directly to get around the copyright or use some other service? I ask because I also some times make similar videos and struggle with getting permission if a photo is needed I did not take. Thanks.

I've been to about 9. BTW, for those thinking of visiting the Smoky Mountains, my suggestion is to stay in Townsend, rather than Gatlinburg. It's far quieter, with easy access to many beautiful places.

I'll second that on Townsend! We like to stay at what used to be called the Tremont but I think it's called the Little Arrow Campground now - You are not doing a workshop are you Steve? I would have signed up in a minute!

Nope, but working on other projects (exposure book, maybe a new video).

I've been to 11 or 12, all in the western U.S. except for Niagara falls. My photos don't look that good either.

I appreciate all your responses. America, indeed, is beautiful. Nonpareil! I'm jealous of you who have visited and taken photos of several of these "magical" US destinations. So far, I've been to 3. (Actually, 2 since I miscounted Denali twice. I attached photos of these places; all from AK.) God willing, hope to stay healthy so I can visit/take more photos of the rest of these places. For those of you who did not see your favorite "magical" place(s) listed, don' be disappointed. Not everyone has the same opinion as to what is beautiful or even "magical." Like Margaret Wolfe Hungerford would say, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." Let's go visit, take more pictures, but most of all enjoy these "magical" places right here in our beloved country.

#1 Mt. Denali by land

#2 Mt. Denali by air

#3 Kenai Fjords
