Lightroom but no Photo Shop??

I’ve obviously done something wrong. When I first started in digital a few months back the kind people here at UHH recommended LR Classic CC along with Photo Shop monthly subscription. LR seemed daunting at first but has become quite fun. At that time I thought I got Photo Shop but I can’t find it. I’d like to move on to more editing there. Can anyone tell me where this should be? I thought I downloaded (or uploaded) but I don’t know if I did it right. Thanks in advance for your help.

If you are on the monthy plan, you get an app that controls what you have. It is called the "Creative Cloud". It tells you when there is a Lightroom version update and has buttons to install the other parts of the plan like Photoshop. It looks like this:

You are paying for the subscription either monthly or annually, so I would contact adobe and have them help you. If you bought the photography subscription you should have it.

I'm not a wizard at this sort of thing but try checking your application folder to see if PS hiding there. If not you can call Adobe for assistance. If you need the phone number of Adobe I can send it to you privately. Good luck.

If you are a Win 10 user, click Start (The Window Icon) and see if Adobe Creative Cloud is listed. It's a bright read icon. If it is, open and then install Photoshop CC. If a Mac, I'm sure the procedure is similar but you will find it among the Apps.

ON a mac the cloud icon looks like the screen shot below. Simply click on the INSTALL button for PS and follow the directions. It will end up in your application folder. You can create an icon on your desktop if you so desire.

Not necessarily David. There is more than one monthly or annual subscription. There are 2 that cost $9.99/month.

One of them is Lightroom CC with 1TB of cloud space for $9.99/month (no Photoshop)
The other is Lightroom CC with 20GB of Cloud, Lightroom Classic CC, Photoshop CC, Bridge CC for the same amount of money.

I did say the photography plan and not the lightroom plan. Yes there is a difference. I said that if he bought the photography plan he should have it. Not with the lightroom plan.

Maybe I should have been more descriptive to satisfy the nit pickers.

jeep_daddy, I am glad I read your post. I was totally confused about this issue. Clear now. I have an old stand-alone version of Lr 5 but I really need to upgrade since this old version of Lr only does not support raw images from my newly purchased Fuji X-T2. I can do everything I need with Lightroom and if I had Photoshop I probably would hardly use it.

Sorry, didn't mean to nit pick. I guess I didn't pay close enough attention to what you wrote. But I still wanted to point out to the OP that there are two different Lightroom plans.
I know of one other person here on UHH that DID purchase the wrong plan because he didn't know that there were 2 plans.
