The children
In America women have been incarcerated for their crimes and their children taken from them for centuries. Why now all of the sudden outrage about the i******s. Why was there no real outcry during the two previous administrations if this idea is so distasteful? Quite simple. The Left and the media are just using this today as another ploy to discredit Trump for doing his job. If the law is unjust our do nothing Congress should fix it now. In fact, it should have been fixed some time ago. Few like what is going on regarding the children but if you have a law it must be applied uniformly and consistently and nobody should get special treatment if they have violated that law. Continuing to do other wise erodes our justice system and will eventually make all laws un-enforceable.

What they are doing is trumping up charges because they did not arrive at the correct asylum point, instead of directing them to the assigned asylum point they are processed as criminals and separated from there children. The parents are not even being told where their children are being taken. Can you expect that a refugee could possible know which "door" to use. The Walmart holding/processing facility is for boys only, What are they doing to the girls?

Everybody who has ever been a child knows that the worst possible thing is to be separated from your parents. And the worst possible person is somebody who would do that, absent some major parental failure. How much evil will today's cult members buy? Just asking. I can't forget that in my lifetime (from 1940), young men got close enough to see the faces of other people who looked exactly like them and shot those people down, day after day. That's a lot of evil but those boys were in a cult, just following orders.

There was an article on the web this A.M. advising that over 10,000 of the kids came over the border without any parents. Anyone know if this is true??

Reports are circulating that Mr. Trump has said "we want to keep families together, I'll be signing something in a little while that's going to do that." So it appears that even Mr. Trump views his current policies (as carried out by his representatives) as inappropriate.

I don't think anyone would argue with your point about the worst possible thing for a child is to be separated from his/her parent but it would also be useful to consider the reality of the fact that these parents who are illegally entering our country are the ones who are putting their children at risk of being separated.
